BookLive Product Update – May 9, 2025: New Features and Bug Fixes

At BookLive, we’re committed to helping musicians simplify the business side of performing. From booking high-end gigs to organizing performances and managing teams of musicians, BookLive was designed by musicians, for musicians. Whether you’re a soloist, part of an ensemble, or a bandleader managing dozens of gigs, our mission is to give you the tools to run your music career like a pro.

This blog is where we share important platform updates, new features, and bug fixes to keep you informed and empowered as a BookLive user. Here’s what’s new this week:

Timezone Accuracy for Groups
We’ve fixed a long-standing issue where some group calendars were showing events in the wrong timezones. Now, group timezones are properly aligned with your location—meaning your availability, performance times, and event coordination will stay accurate no matter where you’re gigging.

Automatic Musician Notifications for Canceled Gigs
When a bandleader cancels a gig that already has musicians staffed, BookLive will now automatically notify those musicians. This helps eliminate confusion, reduces miscommunication, and keeps your team in sync—without extra emails or texts.

Duplicate Songs Now Allowed (When You Want Them)
Back by popular demand: the ability to add the same song more than once to your setlist timeline. Perfect for moments when you want to reprise a crowd favorite or plan for an encore. You’re in full control of your setlist structure.

We’re always working behind the scenes to make BookLive faster, smarter, and more musician-friendly. Thank you for trusting us to support your musical journey—and as always, let us know how we can keep improving.

Stay tuned for more updates, and happy gigging!
