George Garzone
Saxophonist George Garzone is a member of The Fringe, a jazz trio founded in 1972. The band included bassist John Lockwood and drummer Bob Gullotti until 2020, and Francisco Mela since then on the drums. The Fringe performs regularly in the Boston and New York area and has toured around the world for many years. The group has released three albums so far. A new release celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Fringe, is upcoming in 2024. A veteran jazzman, George Garzone has appeared on over 20 recordings. He began on the tenor when he was six, played in a family band and attended Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Bergonzi has performed throughout the world at all the major jazz festivals and jazz venues, with his own ensembles as well as with numerous jazz greats. His music is renowned for its innovation, mastery, and integrity. His discography includes more than 60 recordings, notably Standard Gonz with the Jerry Bergonzi Quartet on the Blue Note label; he also has 60 recorded song titles registered with ASCAP.

Doug Leaffer, AKA ‘BostonSax’, is a professional saxophonist with decades of musical performance experience. Since the early 1980s, he has entertained audiences across various genres including jazz, blues, gospel and R&B.

Theron Leonard
Over the years, Theron Leonard expanded his knowledge in music as he attended reputable workshops and summer programs, such as Norfolk State University in Virginia in 2004, a Jazz workshop in Louisville, Kentucky in 2006, and at a Summer Program at Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts in 2007.
As a saxophonist, Theron traveled to many places to play at major events and for different organizations. Such events include playing Mario Evons’s “Reggae meets Soul”, and Ferrous Wheel and other. Theron also played in the house band for the Berklee College of music’s Singer’s Night ’09 and ‘10, and opened for actor/singer Tyrese in Tortola, British Virgin Island in 2009. Theron also graced people with the smooth sounds of the saxophone at various non-profit occasions, such as the Nigel O. Hodge fund, for the elderly, and for churches. While at home, on the beautiful island of St.Thomas, Theron enjoys performing around the island, whether at weddings or any other special occasions.
Ana Diaz Asencio
Born in Sevilla, Spain, Ana Díaz Asencio is a versatile saxophone player who embraces a colorful repertoire strongly influenced by her studies in Europe and the United States. While cornerstone works of the saxophone repertoire form a central part of her performances, she also actively collaborates with composers to develop and expand the instrument’s contemporary repertoire.
