Alona’s musical voyage began in her native Ukraine—embracing the violin at just six years old and cultivating a lifelong passion. Her talent led her to earning a Master’s in Music and performing with prestigious symphony orchestras and ensembles across Kiev, Europe, the U.S., and Asia.

Described as “”a consummate artist,”” Taiwanese violinist Jean Huang currently serves as newly appointed concertmaster of the Cape Cod Chamber Orchestra, a member of the Phoenix Orchestra (Boston), and the newest first violinist of CØDA ensemble. Jean also serves as the violin faculty at the New England Conservatory School of Continuing Education and Preparatory School.

Selin Eskandarian has been described as a “versatile musician who is able to play multiple instruments with great ease and confidence; a true utility player”. Providing over twenty years of musical entertainment, she has played for celebrities such as The Jonas Brothers, Nina Sky, E-40, the NFL commitee Super Bowl 2023, Tom Ford and many more.

Violin Phonix was created by Maxime Morise and Christopher Cohen. These two strong personalities met at the Royal College of Music in London and discovered they shared a common desire to show the richness of the violin. They propose original compositions, mixing violin and voice, entirely elaborated and played by themselves.

Bonnie has played the violin since she was five years old after seeing a guest performance on Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood. Born and raised in Mesa, she came from a musical family who recognized the importance of private lessons from a young age. Bonnie’s love for the violin continued to grow through her school years. She made Regionals all four years, Arizona All-State Orchestra three years, participated in Solo & Ensemble festivals and attended MasterWorks Music Festival. Bonnie went on to major in Violin Performance Degree and graduated Suma Cum Laude from ASU in 2008. When not teaching (or playing), Bonnie loves to read, run, hike, and garden.

Heide Riggs, a classically trained violinist, enjoys a diverse performance career and currently holds the position of Adjunct Faculty: Strings at Grand Canyon University’s College of Arts and Media in Phoenix, Arizona. She performs for many symphonies, stage orchestras, bands, corporate events, and solo performances. Some of her favorite creative work is collaborating with other artists in the recording studio. Heide holds a Masters of Music Performance and Pedagogy from ASU Herberger Institute School of Music where her most influential teachers included Danwen Jiang, Katie McLin, and the late William Magers. Her other studies inlcude Meadowmount Conservatory with Charles Avsharian and Skye Carmen, and in Minneapolis with Sally O’Reilly.
